There's an important difference between a basic cut key and a programmed transponder or proximity fob. A standard key duplication will open your door but won't start a modern vehicle — your car's ECU requires a chip-encoded key that's been synced to its immobilizer. Push-to-start systems add another layer, requiring proximity fob programming in addition to the key cut. We handle both on-site, without a tow.
